During my time teaching in Abu Dhabi, I designed and ran a portfolio  preparation course as part of the AP studio art course for grade 12 students who were interested in applying for art colleges. 

The course challenged students to develop their visual analytical skills by concentrating on one object as a source of investigation. throughout.

Students investigated their sources using a wide variety of materials approaching the work through both fine art and design methods.
